Can I buy Real Estate Privately?

Just checking if I can buy real estate privately? Was wondering, cause I wanted to get a house that my friend will use from then on, I want to get the house, but not have my name it, but want to own it... is a bit weird... someone told me to get a corporation name and then the purchase can never be traced back to me.
The house is only worth 40K and buying it for a little over 20K... but dont want people just looking up my name and seeing that... or finding out that I have a corporation name and then finding the house through that way. I already have two other houses in my name and those are in the city.. just wondering what the most private way there is to buy and own a house without anyone knowing it is yours.
