My mom thinks im going to die if i play airsoft?

I just got an airsoft gun, i usualy paintball but a lot of my friends airsoft so i bought gun for 150 bucks and my mom thinks that im going to die somehow. She thinks that its unsafe because the police could think that they are real guns and shoot me. My friends play on a private property that is owned by people they know and they let them play there, but my mom thinks i could get shot some how and she thinks the bb's stick into ur skin. How do i convince her that it's perfectly safe. I don't understand why she is fine with paintball when airsoft hurts way less.
