I'm 26; should I try viagra?

I've had sex about 10 times in my life, first time at 19, 2nd time at 23. Never really had much confidence. I've been having sex more often lately (i'm 26), but my problem is that I can get hard when I am with a partner, but as soon as I enter them I quickly get soft. I have no problems with erections when I masturbate, though I never get morning wood, which I believe is uncommon. I'm thinking about trying Viagra, at least to build up confidence. Does it actually work? And are any side effects, like the 4-hour erection they mention in commercials likely at my age?
